2. Description of Service
Ontem is an accounts receivable automation platform that helps businesses manage invoicing, payments, customer relationships, and integrations with third-party accounting software. The Service includes features such as invoice management, payment processing, automated reminders, email synchronization, and reporting.
3. Accounts and Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account using a supported authentication provider. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems

5. Payment Processing
Payment processing is provided through third-party payment processors, including Stripe. By using payment features, you also agree to the payment processor's terms of service. We are not responsible for errors or issues caused by third-party payment processors.

The Service integrates with third-party services including QuickBooks, Google, Microsoft, and Stripe. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or functionality of third-party services.
7. Data Ownership
You retain all rights to the data you upload or create through the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide and improve the Service.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ontem shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
